Yachats, Oregon – This fall and winter, the Yachats Area Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the “Trail Gnomes,” is launching an exciting treasure hunt that promises to engage residents and visitors alike. From October 2024 through March 2025, participants will have the opportunity to search for beautifully crafted mushrooms made of glass and porcelain, created by local artists Rasa Clay Works and Holmes Birdwell Glass Art.
Each Saturday morning, clues will be released to guide treasure hunters to the hidden mushrooms throughout the Yachats area. Clues can be found on the Chamber’s Instagram account, @visit.yachats. This interactive event not only encourages exploration of the picturesque coastal town but also supports local artisans by showcasing their unique creations.
Participants can enhance their experience by registering online to receive clues directly in their inbox. The registration link is available at Yachats Treasure Hunt.
